Goal setting can be extremely powerful if you create a true vision into your future. Many make a wish list. Big Difference in setting a goal.

Spend some time really thinking this through. Make sure they are S-M-A-R-T goals.
S – Specific
M – Measurable
A – Attainable
R – Relevant
T – Time-bound
It is best if you can set short and long term goals. Break them down accordingly. Example 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years etc. Make sure they are clearly defined measurable goals.
Why do we set Goals?
It helps us focus, organize and plan for our success. By hitting the target on even those 1 month small goals gives us just the encouragement and motivation to continue to the next goal.
Without goals you are like a ship lost at sea, you go where ever the waves take you.
Goals don’t only have to be for Business and Career but we need to set Personal, Family and Community Goals. When creating family goals, make sure you include the entire family in this collaboration or brainstorming.

When starting to create your goals, look at the Big Picture and then work backwards and break it down into big size pieces. You have heard the old cliché how do you eat an Elephant? One bite at a time.
